Just out of curiosity, what do you guys thank we should be paying in interest while accounts are frozen? What percentage? Please feel free to also back up your % with some sort of reasoning.

As I mentioned earlier this week, I'm away from home and have limited to access to eve-playing computers. I have not logged in since paying out the debt, it's nothing personal. My apologies though, you know I'm always happy to chat with friends.

Since you can't get in game I'll put my short comments here.
My only issue with this whole situation is that rather than direct contact you chose a post on MD as your first contact. That is what really bothers me.
To everyone talking about RL legal aspects of this situation, there really aren't any. If Eve was like RL then the EBANK situation would be much different. There would be a governing body to step in and take care of the bank's depositors. Obviously I'm using the US as my example with its FDIC insurance since I don't know what other countries have in place.
I do wish to resolve this issue but I'm certainly not going to do it on the MD forums with all its trolls, know it alls, and everyone in the peanut gallery.
I hope all involved parties will step out of the nonsense that this thread has turned into and come together to find a resolution. If that can't happen then aren't we all a bunch of children.
That's really all the constructive comments I can add.

Umm what world do you live in? The reason I'd rather talk to Kwint in private is to avoid ******s like you who think they know it all and feel they should let everyone else know it all. Its not an issue of transparency its an issue of actually being able to have a discussion without the trolls. It's not about "back room deals" or any other such nonsense.
Let's bring real world examples in since you all love doing that. If I go to talk to my banker about a loan do you and the rest of the world get to sit in on it? No, because your opinion means **** all. The sense of entitlement on MD makes me sick.
Although, I'm sure you'll have some clever response so why am I even wasting my time? I guess I just don't have anything else to do right now and trolls make me laugh.

And I meant him coming to us to say he had a problem rather than us finding out on the forums. You are right about one thing, if he came to us and said i want interest turned back on we'd say "but we'd have to do that for everyone and we can't right now". At that point he could go public. Anyways, I only respond to people who start the name calling. Does that make it ok? Probably not but it feels good. You're a good example of a bad troll and you're a dime a dozen. I never said you couldn't discuss it, discuss it all you want. It's when you start thinking its your way or no way that things turn ugly. BTW, and this is to anyone and everyone, it's not my job to try and defend our policies or to play nice when others won't. I guess we don't really have that role filled yet. I make isk and give my opinion. I'm not a real world banker nor do I work for a financial institution. I have no experience in banking other than working in the IT department at a bank for 2 years. I'm not trying to be an expert. I spend my time doing what I do best in Eve, and when I'm not doing that I play forum warrior. Please don't take the things I say personally.

Edit: I also want to add that I HATE the MD forum being used to have this sort of discussion because it is so easy to see everyone complaining about something and mix the relevant complaints and discussion with the trolls. Sometimes a troll is a troll, a toll is a toll, and if we don't get no tolls then we don't eat no rolls. Other times a troll isn't a troll. In your case I think I misspoke when using the word "troll" to describe you. But it is easy to get lost in who said what when there are so many people saying so many things.
